I understand it is unlawful to monitor Voice-Inverted Radiocommunications, I just want to know what it is, or the service, LE? Aero? Bounty Hunters?

Anyway, it's a repeater, Strong (26db > s9). Does anyone know what this is?

do you have the old Police Call Radio directory from the RS days? Those had awesome allocation tables with all the service type codes for each frequency within the Public Service Bands.

161.9000 is marine channel 26.
Whoever is using it in the Denver area is either leasing it from the VHF Public Coast auction licensee in that market area or it's a bootlegger. If it's legitimate the input should be 157.3000.
