DENVER - Police are trying to identify two victims after one person was killed and another seriously injured when a stolen car crashed into a tree on early Saturday morning.
Denver Police say it happened just before 5 a.m. at Lowell Boulevard and Amherst Avenue.
Police say the man driving apparently lost control and hit a tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The woman in the passenger seat was taken to Denver Health Medical Center with serious injuries.
Police say the car was stolen from a home in the 500 block of Quieto Way about 15 minutes before the crash. It's believed it was left running in the driveway.
Police are trying to identify the man and the woman. She has a 303 tattoo on her left hand, a star tattoo on her ring finger and a tattoo on her neck that says "Only God Can Judge."
