It's been totally insane at DIA all day. Earlier they had a Medic Unit stuck in the snow and massive snow drifts.

I was out in Denver for Sunday through Tuesday. Glad I got out when I did, as they cancelled most of the flights Wednesday.

Looks almost that good again today after a fast melt-down --- just a bit of white stuff in the grass in the background. As they say here, "If you don't like the weather, just wait a few minutes".

Was fun to listen to snow removal ops, and see aviation weather reported as "Below Cat I" [instrument approach minimums] before they closed up shop. Peak wind was 340 @ 48 knots I believe. Wheeee.

I should point out that my airplane will hover in that much wind. In one spot. Haha.

Lol where I am at if you don't like the weather dpnt hold your breath it's just gonna get hotter. I wish we had the cold and snow like some of you are getting I'll take it over the death valley heat.
