DPD, Arapahoe County and Aurora all involved in a search for a man who shot his ex-girlfriend in the face and fled from apartments near Quebec and Yale. Was last seen SW of there along the Highline Canal. This happened Sunday evening (3-25) around 4:30. As far as I know, the bad guy hasn't been caught, the victim is a DG and is talking to police.
The real reason for my posting is to ask if anyone can enlighten me about the mutual aid communications used in this incident. Arapahoe County had various channels of theirs patched to DPD Dispatch 3 throughout the incident, there was some very brief traffic on CLEER at the outset. Aurora joined in later as well as Air One, but everything went through Denver's Dispatch 3.
Isn't this what Blue SE is supposed to do? Comms seemed to go rather smoothly except for the Denver dispatcher noting low audio levels from Arapahoe radios...
Just curious...
Thanks.
