Denver Scanning

heys fellahs i have a question, I would like to be able to hear denver. I can get the FD simulcast on VHF, but thats boring. Is there a cheep alternative to buying the new scanner and card? i would like to be able to hear all the channels.

Any suggestions??

Any trunk tracking scanner that will handle edacs such as the bc245, pro92, 93, 94, 95 will work just fine. I am thinking there a couple other models but I can't recall what they are.

Denver isn't digital. Just plain edacs.

You had me going there for a minute Curt, thinking that Denver switched on ESK or went Pro Voice over night.

Everything except for homicide and a few drug enforcement channels are all edacs analog and need no card to monitor. Click Here for RR's database of freqs and talkgroups for Denver.

No it won't - but you will be fine with listening to just about everything else here in the metro area except Aurora or part of it anyway !

wellthen there are on line feeds you can listen too (i am surprised they were not plugged LOL
