DPD is investigating a male shot to death at 4567 Biscay St. They were called to the scene at about 6:05 pm.

I heard about it directly from PD but I was surprised that I didn't hear a peep over the air waves (PD, FD, EMS) about it. Even the press was a little slow with it. Did any MMN listeners hear about and page it? Are homicides really that common in Denver, Jim?

No it was not reported too or paged by MNN.

Homicides are indeed all to common in both Colo Springs and Denver not like Chicago, Detroit or Miami but still too often.

You are right. I am pretty sure Denver and Colorado Springs are running neck and neck on that front. I believe both cities have had 19 homicides reported this year and then this one was the 20th homicide in Denver. This would be the third in the Montbello area of Denver this year. Sad to think about but Colorado Springs is about due for another this weekend.

All the activity on this incident took place on the DPD District 5 tactical talk group, so that's why the press was a little slow on this one.
