Tonight while listening to the Denver Scanner. I heard traffic with Denver Truck 2. Is there a Engine 2?

At station 5 what units run out of the old Glendale Station? Does anyone have the street address for Station 5?

Nope just run a single unit out of that new Montbello station.

Thanks Jim for the information. I thought that Glendale used to have some sort of Ladder, can't remember if it was a truck, tower or quint, what happened to that?

Did the Glendale units keep their red paint or were they repainted?

Glendale did have a rescue and a truck but Denver has not put those into service.

Station 2 is in Montbello. Instead of using the next number for a station, DFD decided to start recycling old station numbers.

I knew about Station 5, now know about Station 2, are there any other additional stations?

Station #2 is at 5300 Memphis St. and opened November 2, 2004. I think they basically took Truck 29 and moved it to station #2. I don't know if it is the same rig, since they seem to shuffle truck rigs quite a bit. Now there is only an Engine at Station 29. It feels weird to hear Engine 5 and Truck 5 after all these years! Next station will be 18?

As Jim said, they only run an Engine from station #5. The last time I saw it about 3 weeks ago, it was the old Glendale Engine with Red and Black. I don't know where the old Quint, Rescue and Air-Light trucks went.

Since Denver got their new Hammer, I guess Engine 5 is the only non-white rig in the Denver FD (not counting airport rigs and Hammer 3).

I suspect you would be right. Maybe you will be lucky and he will go around you and get the next guy.
