Did Denville PD do something to improve their PD dispatch system? For the longest time I've been having difficulty receiving (here in Mt. Olive) Denville PD's 45.98Mhz. Suddenly it comes in great. What's the deal?
Many towns that are duped into the "you need a new $$system$$" thought can probably fix all their problems with a few new antennas, lightining arrestors and a couple hundred bucks worth of cable. And a on staff radio tech of course.
So much for being able to receive Denville PD. They're back down in the VHF mud. Can still pick them up a little but it's hardly worth it. Hey Denville radio tech. If you read this, Kick it up a notch.
Receiving them 5x 5 in the Roxbury/Flanders area. Hear no difference and they sound the same as they always have so may be an issue specific to where you are located in Mt. Olive.
I'm sure that's true. There's a hill near you that's perfectly blocking my line of sight. Might have just been a week of improved propagation that I enjoyed. Oh well.
