To improve data accuracy and to maintain efficient and usable data for newer scanners that import data, I have deprecated the two following systems in the database:

State of Louisiana - Legacy Analog SmartZone Trunking System, Statewide, Louisiana - Scanner Frequencies

Jefferson Parish - Public Safety (Backup P25) Trunking System, Jefferson Parish, Louisiana - Scanner Frequencies

As agencies have migrated to LWIN, these systems have been taken offline. The Jefferson Parish system has been offline for over two years, while the State system, more recently (from the numerous sites I can monitor).

The information for these systems will remain accessible directly by using the links above.

This will help eliminate confusion and streamiline the LA database as we move forward in 2011 with new, easier to use scanners, database enhancements by the administrator, and improvement in the overall integrity of the LA database.

Sounds good Kevin.

If anyone around the state is still getting active CCh activity on the legacy state of Louisiana 800 MHz system, please PM Kevin with the particulars. And in that regard, as other agencies move from their legacy systems (conventional or trunked) and jump on the LWIN bandwagon, please listen to the older system. When (and if) it appears to have been abandoned, send a submission to that effect so the DB Admins can deal with it. Thanks all.
