I know that Detroit City Fire uses 154.310 as a main talk channel, but how are they dispached/toned out. What other frequincies should I program? I've done some searches, but they aren't specific, they show a general Detroit City description.

Detroit Fire

Fire companies are notifed by a computer aided dispatch system.
A printer in the fire house prints out the run location and they rip & run.
A follow up telephone call can be made by the dispatcher if they do not see the fire company enroute by MDT. At one time the fire houses were alerted by an alert system on 154.310 but it is broken like everything else in the city.

I think scanner master (top right corner) sells an emergency pager service that covers calls in detroit. That's probably the closest you'll get to receiving the city's dispatches.

Detroit has a new system in place, I believe it is called the "Code Red" system. The CAD that is in the firehouses now sets off the bells in the stations so that elevates the need to have tones after midnight to wake the guy on cot watch.
