Anyone know of Detroit Police radio live audio streams available on the net?

My searches have not produced any favorable results.

I gotta believe somebody is streaming DPD audio.

Thanks,

Steve

I searched a couple of months ago for one and was not able to find any. There use to be one a while back but it's gone now. I would be interested to know if there are any live feeds for any of Detroit's public safety agencies?

Late last year, N8CHB , Had a an audio sream of Detrit PD and dist. 2 coms, western Wayne, and Downriver fed into the Echolink system . have not heard it yet. He had the BC796 fed into his puter audio input. had a problem with the line audio as it would increase/decrease line level at it's own discretion.

Subject: BC796D digital scanner feed

Hello Folks,

I just put a live feed of State of Michigan Public Safety Communications (M.P.S.C.S.) APCO-25 9600 baud

I have not had time to write a URL on my web page yet so
with Winamp just type in my IP number and it should play.

IP 67.149.70.95:8000

Happy listening,

MPSCS Detroit site

There is not much being sent from that site yet.
Still working on it guess.

Northville has the most traffic at the present time and the tower is
at 7 and I275 on the old State Police tower. Way up there.

Check my live feed at http://67.149.70.95:8000/

MPSCS Statewide + Detroit Metro West & South Area - public safety by N8CHB

Don't know how old you are "transam76" but my Brother used to
give out tickets in ur area on the 401 back in the 60's
He's retired OPP now.

Boy I feel old now............. ha. ha.

The Detroit MPSCS site is actually quite busy. The Detroit City site only has Detroit DPW, Water, Animal Control, and other city services thus far. There has been no PD or FD communications on it at all that I've heard. The closest thing to law enforcement I've heard is the parking enforcement talkgroups.

They're still running on the temporary site for now. I wouldn't expect the fire department or PD to move over until the full system is fully operational.
