DFR TGID, EMS Dispatch 2, is being used as “Cold Weather Command”, to assist people in need of help in keeping warm during this cold spell. This is for field units answering a specific address, as opposed to the various “warming centers” where people can go for protection from weather.

What they seem to be using this for is if they get a call from someone who needs to move, temporarily, to a warming center, whoever runs the call can arrange for transportation to a center
This doesn’t include responses for the ‘homeless’ people as they have tied to get them moved in bunches as opposed to singles

This is not for responses for homeless camps. Warming centers were set up in advance and the homeless were encouraged to go there before the coldest weather hit
