DFW Trunked system

I have a 396T and want to know if the trunked system at DFW is scannable?= If so does anyone have a Freescan File I can use??

There is one fire department talkgroup that is analog and scanable with the latest firmware for the 396T. You can hear the dispatcher dispatch fire and EMS calls, but you won't hear the repsponse from the fire and EMS units. If you're close to the airport, it's worth programming in. If you're not close, it may not be worth the effort.

DFW is an awfully big area. Please specify which agency (ies) you're wondering about. Most cities are very easy to listen to.

This didn't deserve to be anywhere else but at the tail end of this thread...

Video of a Red Dodge Charger Going General Lee at DFW.
The driver "claims" that she was hit from behind, and that's why she executed the mini-shuttle launch routine. Other than the scorch marks, from where the car caught fire upon "re-entry", and impact, on the other side of the toll booth, no evidence of any impact from another vehicle was found. She managed to 'fly' over the toll booths, but below the awning that spans all of them at the entry point.

She said she only had one martini (or something) the night before. Must have been the extra large size. She also kept trying to get back in the burning car.
