Just updated my PSR-800 (library and then stored freqs) this morning and now I get what sounds like a control channel every now and then on FIRE SOUTH, not hearing any regular traffic on any other TG.

Ideas? Thoughts?

Maybe I'm missing something in the EZ-Scan software, I'm not sure.

I found my issue.

I went into EZ-Scan and saw where I could custom enter the tables for this "shuffled bandplan" (whats the reasoning behind going to that system?) I compared those to the Wiki here and found that the "update" to the EZ-Scan library contains WRONG information.

On the LEFT, is a picture of what the EZ-Scan library update saved to the memory card.

On the RIGHT, is a picture of what the Wiki here says.

I had to manually go into the trunked system and enter all the right values. (Such a pain!)

Is there anyway to escalate this to the folks that update the library? Or possibly as a known issue in the Wiki here?

If you are MOD of this board, or know a MOD of this board, could you pass this information on?

Sorry, but after owning one of these radio's, I'm kind of compassionate when it comes to getting the right data!

Jake

The "table" on the left is for standard Motorola rebanding of RS-GRE trunking scanners....The tables on the right are special derived from a formula myself and others worked with the GRE-Uniden rep for Grundy Co "Motorola Shuffle Plan"....Don't ask why they picked this plan as i have no idea,......
