Did I do something wrong?

I finally got off my butt and gave Lindsay a donation via paypal, but so far it still hasn't shown up in my profile. It's going on 3 days since I sent it - is it a manual process to update a profile or did I goof up somewhere along the line? :?

It is a manual process, at least at Lindsay's end. He has to see it then update your profile. He is a pretty busy guy right now, so let him have a little bit of time.

I think I figured it out...

I'm paying it via echeck from my account to paypal, then paypal will forward it to Lindsay....

Well, paypal says it hasn't cleared yet. And it doesn't show up in my bank account. Paypal estimates it will clear by 7/13. So the hold up is at paypals end.

So if anyone else donates via echeck thru paypal, expect it to take about a week or more to process. Bummer - if I had known that, I would have just mailed Lindsay a check! :shock: Oh well.

Ahh. Of course if you had an account on PayPal and allowed them to just do the auto-withdraw, it is pretty much instant into the RR account. Then all you have to do is wait for Lindsay to clear his email. (Like that doesn't take some effort. :lol: )

Well, that's what I thought I did, but apparently it takes a while to pull money from my bank account into paypal. Bummah....
