I had a conventional radioshack scanner (forgot the model, as it was so long ago) and fast forward to 2024, I bought a SDS100.
I was just curious if radio shack manufactured a digital scanner similar to the SDS100 or if the SDS100 (and 200 for that matter) were the first true digital scanners?

No. Radio Shack never manufactured ANY scanners. They are manufactured by others, and labeled as Radio Shack. If the questions is "Did Radio Shack ever sell Radio Shack branded digital scanners?", then yes. Posts here have provided links and some info.

In Canada, Intertan ( Radio Shack ) sold Uniden models with the sliding battery pack. This was my first scanner, the Uniden BCD BC200XLT, which came with a belt-carrying pouch.
