Voice of Vietnam in English on 11885khz at 2130z.

Radio Romania in English on 9430khz at 2150z.

Voice of Turkey in English on 5960khz at 2335z.

Yesterday but not today, NRI, Net? Radio International on 9925khz USB w/English ID. Playing constant techno type music with ID over the top so not sure about Net?
Googled this station but wasn't found. Was not on eibi list. If anyone has heard this and has more info let me know?

Happy DXing,

Could have been a pirate. It's been known to happen.

The only station on 9925 I can find (on EiBi and Short-wave.info) is Radyo Pilipinas, which apparently broadcasts to Philippine workers in the Mideast around 1700 or so UTC.

Very nice! I pulled in radio Japan and New Zealand in English the other day. Don't remember the khz off the top of my head but I'll write it down next time.

Thanks for posting Jim. What receiver are you using? Antenna? What city are you in?

I'm in Macomb Twp, MI and recently purchased an ICOM IC-R8600 that I'm currently using for aircraft monitoring but I'm wanting to explore MW/SW. I have to wait until the weather warms up to do something for an outdoor antenna.

Just put up a 30 foot wire across trees or bushes until spring. I picked up a roll of wire at Home Depot. Or, order a par end fed. Am using the box that came with the par end fed and changed the wire that came with it to a longer wire from the roll I bought. Think mine is 60 feet now. Thinking of going longer in the spring.

I don't think PAR is selling that anymore. I can't find it.

I'm sure it was a pirate station. Being in USB it sounded like the pirate stations in the 6800 to 7000khz range.

Checked again last night but it wasn't on the air.

Mainly use the Palstar R30 and a Drake SPR-4 but I have others.

I have an 80' end fed wire running NNW-SSE and an 75' end fed wire running WSW-ENE.
They are fed to a DX Engineering NCC-2 signal enhancer/noise eliminator.

I see the price went up. I have the cheapest one and works great.

Forgot to mention this was in USB mode. Don't know if this was out of band ham'ers or Air Force, Navy, etc.

Nothing shown for that frequency on the eibi list.
