I'm listening to Seattle on and off throughout the evening. There seems to be some sort of search and rescue operation going on in The Sound, but I'm not hearing too many specifics.
I heard them mention Eagle Harbor, The Duwamish Head, and Bainbridge Island.
I heard one SPD dispatcher tell an unknown (to me) unit that the Coast Guard was handling things on 21 Alpha VHF. I checked the RRDB and found the USCG 21A VHF channel (157.0500), and there was indeed some chatter, but I couldn't tell you what they were talking about. It sounded like a whole lot of navigational data, such as heading, and track, but I didn't catch it all.
I heard one coast guard guy say something about "Coast guard search and rescue 6574 wilco", and he also mentioned Sector 6574. It sounded like he was in a really loud helicopter.
Anyone out there listening to this?
