So I've always listened to Winsted PD on my analog scanner while listening to Troop B on my SDR....today I noticed WPD simulcast to the CLRMN Winsted Emergency Management talkgroup (26204)

Does anyone know if this is an official/permanent change?

I vaguely recall someone discussing Winstead/Winchester Fire moving to LCD on CLMRN, if they are moving, it would make sense that the police are shifting over as well.

I know a while ago they were cross patched and they were demoing the clmrn with a fd portable. This was under the old chief though, so maybe the new chief wanted to try it again. I'll try to get more info on it

I'm listening on my TRX-1 right now and they're still bouncing back and forth between analog and digital transmissions (talkgroup)

Hmmmm.....I guess I won't lock them out on the analog scanner just yet. Already did so with LCD as it was pretty irritating hearing it in delayed stereo, but don't want to miss any traffic if they're still transitioning.
