Did your Sentinel stop working, reinstall doesn't help, read this post

I've experienced this and others I've helped have as well, seems like Sentinel out of the blue corrupts it's own config file.... if yours stops opening when you click the icon yet you are able to open it under a different user login, read this.... a reainstall does not help as that does not replace the config file that gets corrupted.

Happened to me uninstalled it with revo uninstaller it gets rid of the remaining leftover files on the pc. Reinstalled and all back to normal. If you decide to use the uninstaller I recommend doing the advanced analyze function after the program is uninstalled.

Yes, absolutely an uninstall will fix it as it removes that config file, good point.

Not saying the fix you came up with is a bad idea at all. Just it was easier for me doing it with the uninstaller.

Sorry that my post was upsetting for you. I merely posted what I found on the subject with a very quick Google search, only took a few seconds.

I saw the original post, BUT after a few back and forths where all I kept seeing was "STOPPED WORKING" - I passed.

I've gotten to the point that I won't help those who won't help themselves. Sorry - but that is just my apathy. Too many years of support - getting jaded.
