Differeance Between Dual And Triple Trunking

I have two dual trunking 2052s and triple trunking pro 97.With in the last half hour I have heard the control chanel for Carney dps on the 97 but when I programed the whole system in one of 2052s it won't trunk it.

Not real sure but I thought it had something to do with what systems it will track. II being Moto and Edacs, and III being Moto, Edacs and LTR systems. I could be wrong.

this is correct. and quadtrunking being motorola digital p25 trunking i believe

Dual Trunking=Motorola and EDACS
Triple Trunking=Motorola, EDACS and LTR
Digital Trunking=Various Digital formats including P25, etc.

Are you in OKC? How far are you from Carney? I get Carney sometimes on my 97 in OKC and sometimes not.

Don't know much about the PRO 2052. But if it's like the PRO 2050 at all, that could be part of the problem. I've owned a couple of 2050s, and consider both of them to be essentially worthless at trunk tracking. Fine for conventional scanning, but worthless for trunking.

I have two 2050's that work just fine for D.P.S.

Get both Carney and Tecumseh, and of course Crescent and OKC here at Guthrie.

I can listen to Pink, Lex and Norman. I guess that I'm just to far south for Carney.
