BCT15X: Different Freqs in Airband Service Search on BCT15X vs BCT15

Hello all, I came across something that has puzzled me that I'm hoping somebody could answer. I had been wondering why my new BCT15X scanner was scanning so slow on the airband service search compared to my old BCT15 which was scanning along really fast. I finally noticed that the freqs in the airband search on the BCT15X are different compared to the BCT15.

For example on the BCT15X the freq 130.8000 goes to 130.8083 then to 130.8166 and finally to 130.8250

But on the BCT15 the freq 130.8000 just jumps to 130.8250, there is no in-between.

Band Defaults

Note: This setting has no effect on service searches.
but if you set up a custom airband search you could change it from 8.33 to 12.5 or 25 and get through it faster.
At 'Set Step' scroll to Auto, 5, 6.25, 7.5, 8.33, 10, 12.5, 15, 20, 25, 50, or 100 kHz and press E/● to save and exit.
