What is the difference between a BC355C and a BC355N?

EDIT: one review on Amazon mentioned updated hardware. So, a couple years ago, several of Uniden's scanner models had to receive hardware updates due to covid-19 supply chain issues.

From what I can tell...
The 355C is a 2009 vintage... The 355N is a 2012 vintage... According to the copyright on the mauals for them...
Possibly the "N" version is a newer version of the "C"... Don't know...

We have a little overlap with the "C" so haven't put the "N" page up, yet. It is actually available, though. Same basic specs as C except for change to the band plan to add narrow width and steps.

I think the "C" refers to Canada. Memory serves it was set up for what referred to as the "Canadian" band plan.
