Digital HAM (not D-Star!) P25/NXDN/TRBO in NGA

Worth mentioning are new digital mode VHF/UHF ham repeaters in the area.

Latest addition is the WB4NWS repeater on Pine Long Mtn, which runs mixed mode P25 phase I/analog. 145.43 NAC 293/PL 107.2

We also have the W7QO NXDN mixed mode repeater on 191 Peachtree on 443.025.

I have been told there is an iDAS repeater running mixed mode in Paulding county on 442.95.

Soon to be a TRBO ConnectPlus repeater on 441.95 from a high site in Dunwoody, this will be linked into the NI4CE system in Florida.

More digital (P25/NXDN/TRBO) is in the near future in Cobb county.

So for those of you who like "cop" radios and want to play digital (LEGALLY) get your ham ticket and program up your digital portable on these new systems.

This is excellent news! I just broke down and bought a EF Johnson 5100 with the 380-470 bandsplit. TRBO might have been a better investment, but the price was too good to pass up.

Now here's hoping for some P25 repeaters near Atlanta on 440! I loves me some P25.
