Digital Radio price drop in Canada

I see Durham Radio has dropped the prices of the Uniden 396 and 996 scanners to $ 579.00 Can. The US the average selling price is $ 499.00 If you factor in shipping, Customs its pretty close too equal

I think it has more to do with the Canadian dollar strengh then anything.

Too bad we have 13% tax to deal with above that $579 price so our total is $654 (least in Ontario other provinces differ)

But yes glad to see the price drop
