Digital Scanner Question

I live in Oakland County, Michigan where they will be converting to an M/A Open Sky Digital Radio System. Is there a digital scanner available such as the PRO-96 that will work with this system? I have heard that the PRO-96 firmware is upgradeable to ensure the scanner will work with new systems in the future. Is this true? I want to buy a digital scanner, but want to make sure it will work with the new system in my county! Thanks for any guidance! In everyone's opinion, which is the best digital scanner?

The short answer is NO, you can not receive it.

Most feel it will never be scannable.
