If it says NAC than you need a digital scanner

If it says DPL your analog radio should not have a problem with it as long as it supports DPL/DCS

It does. However, for Close Call, you need to determine if you want:
a. All Close Call hits (analog and digital)
b. Analog hits only
c. Digital hits only.

For "a", you leave the 'search' option (for PL and NAC) set to none. It will then pick up analog and digital signals. No PL/CTCSS tones or DCS codes, nor NAC codes would be displayed.
For "b", you have the scanner set to 'search' for a PL (CTCSS) tone or DCS code. This will only give you analog hits. Any PL or DCS code found will be displayed.
For "c", setting the scanner to search for a NAC code, it will only give you close call hits that are digital. Any NAC code found will be displayed.

What system are you trying to hear?
