i am looking to buy a scanner to listen to primarily police freq
besides not being able to listen to opp freq what else would i be missing with police using an analog trunking scanner>

OK some time ago I posted some what of that in the IBN forum and this is what I had to say to this.

Because of the fact that Digital is getting more commonly used than analog because of better sound & less
Static. Plus Digital is now being more commonly used. Almost half of the nation now has gone Digital. So may I suggest to get a Digital scanner. Good luck to ya.
