Digtal Question

Pottawattamei county is going to be going digital and i was wondering how that works? I know i have to get a digital scanner but i dont know what to look for. If anyone could help with what to get and how it works that would be wonderful.

You will need one that does P25 trunking. Uniden has the BD296D BC796D, BCD396T, BCD996T, BCD396XT and BCD996XT.
Radio shack Pro96, 2096, 106 and 197
GRE PSR 500 and 600
The Uniden XTs are the newest model from Uniden. The pro 106 and 197 are the newest from radio shack.
The pro197 base/mobile seems to be the best that works on the system.
