Dim LCD

I know I am late to the party for this one, but can anyone point to the specific info regarding the dim LCD campaign for the 536HP? I cannot locate a specific LCD campaign.

I have a unit that is very dim, and want to understand what is covered. I purchased this unit from a private party, will Uniden still cover that repair?

Just wanted to get some info before I packed it up and shipped it to Uniden.

They repaired two of them for me late last year with this problem at no cost (one of the two also suffered the clock problem). Both units were 2-3 years old.

OK. So apparently the CLOCK campaign referenced above does not cover the dim LCD. Even though I included a note on my unit when I sent it in, the dim LCD issue was not repaired.

Can someone explain if the dim LCD is covered as a defect, and covered outside of the 1 year warranty?

Yeah I read that, I assumed when they went to fix my clock, they would fix the LCD dim issue too. The repair notes only state "Battery Modification".

It also indicates D415, D416, D417, and D418, which are the backlight LEDs.

Thanks for the clarification. I would have no clue on the D codes, and the CS rep couldn't elaborate either when asked about the LCD. I am glad to hear that it was sorted.
