Greetings. Drove through Dinwiddie county along 460 and noticed that on the P25 Sheriff Main frequency (151.0850) was getting nothing but digital hash......making me think encryption. Also the Fire/EMS P25 (154.4375) was a mix of hash and clear.....also possible encryption. Have they indeed gone encrypted for LE and Fire/EMS? Thanks.

Interesting......wonder what was up. I was not listening to the FM simulcast, just the P25 frequencies......maybe I did not have it set right. Thanks.

Dinwiddie Co. is not encrypted. The 151.0850 mhz. SO can be heard when mobile down to the NC state line. Whatever the problems you're having is on your end.
