Does anyone know what freq. Dinwiddie tac 2 is for sheriff Dept..I have tac 1. now they are uses tac2 unable to find anyone knowing it I would appreciate it thanks.

Hi Bobby, If I was there I would listen to the other frqs from the WPUJ964 license:

153.7475
156.0375
156.1050

yeah i tried that but none were active when they went to tac 2 i have all them programed in my scanner but didnt hear anything so i dont know what chan. they went to thanks for reply i appreciate

Did you check the frequencies for WPZV 812? Dinwiddie acquired more frequencies last year, most or all former Prince George VHF frequencies.

Hey Bobby, it is also possible that it is a simplex frequency (not repeated that is) that may have very limited range and they were just too far from you to hear. Put all those freqs in your scanner, keep it running especially if you travel around the county, and sooner or later you will hit it.

When you find it, let everyone else know.

Yes the tac channels are simplex and as you know Dinwiddie is a big county. Back when we had 30mhz there were more dead spots then good spots. It was just plain unsafe. There is more going on in this county then people think.
