Disabling channels

Ok, I must have missed something in the manual. I know how to enable channels 1 - 20 on the PSR500 but I can't seem to find how to disable channels 11 - 20. I would have thought it would be just the opposite of enabling them but it won't work. Did I miss something? Anybody tell me how to do this?

Function key then your number...function+7=17 on or off. Hope it works

There are no channels in the 500 only objects. the best I can offer is a link for the easier to read manual.

I do it, but with software,not by hand.

Bob I think you are referring to the scan lists not channels.
While scanning, pressing 1 thru 0 will either enable or disable scan lists 1 thru 10, pressing the FUNC key before pressing 1 thru 0 will either enable or disable scan list 11 thru 20.

Thanks everyone. I got it. I knew it was something simple. And yes I meant scan lists. I guess I'm still living in the past...Lol I'm still learning this scanner.
