Starting to hear comms from Ravens stadium for a drill this morning. Control just gave instructions for all units over AA County Fire Alpha...(accidentally)

Comms on Baltimore City A9

Note: working fire on C1 (3 or more alarms) at this time - church? on 33rd street.

Update: some consideration being given to canceling the drill due to the working fire but the working fire is considered contained and command is releasing some companies. Discussion about transfering units from outside B City...

Drill units attempting to contact FEMA via Interop channels / I-Call 866.0125 Mhz

Also - seem to be initiating scenario on Special Events TG 5184

Update: 1145 - drill underway - stadium units report explosions in stadium - requesting fire/ems/police

Drill dispatch on A9; OPs on B5, B6, etc.

Comms also (patched?) onto I-TAC1 866.5125

Kind of ironic that due to a fire they were thinking about canceling a drill. Whats a better time to have one when the shtf?

yeah - sort of - but you can't do something moronic to go ahead with a non-critical event and deplete your resources necessarily and be caught with your pants down... people get fired for that kind of thinking...

You also want the units and crews expected to be first on the scene at that venue to be the ones drilling for that type of emergency.

It would have been more interesting to see the drill start and then have a major incident follow -- hopefully they planned for that...
