• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

Hello all....
I'm certain I've seen them before but can't put my hands on them at the moment. Does anyone have photos of the discriminator tap points for both the BC780XLT and BC796D scanners? How about the BC296D as well?
Thanks.

For the 796, I think the discriminator can be accessed by a 'LND12' pad on the circuit board - better confirm that with a listing from mods.dk or one of the other mods areas.

The Wiki has a page for the 780 where the tap can be found - about 1/2 way down the page...
