I ran trunking discovery mode for 2 1/2 days on a fairly busy system with a few known unid'd talkgroups. I wanted to isolate the new traffic, so I turned off all services. This made it so that radio would only stop on the unknown talkgroups. I set logging to all, and enabled compare to DB. Duration was set to 600 seconds.
At the end of my discovery, I had about 40 talkgroups. The results showed several talkgroups repeated. Some of the repeated pairs had at least one 600 second discovery. Other times I had two or three records with a less than 600 second duration.
I would have expected only one record per new talkgroup. Has anyone else experienced this?
