I am looking to discriminator tap one of my scanners (preferably the Pro25), but will do the Pro 60 if needed.

I am looking to use this with Trunker type program.

Has anyone successfully done this .. ?

I am having trouble finding ACCURATE information on where the radios should be tapped.

The Pro25 is obviously manufactured my UNIDEN .. but dont know which one. If I knew the equivalent Uniden model it may help.

Thanks

The PRO-60 uses a TA31136FN IF chip and the tap point is pin 9.

The PRO-25 does not have a Uniden equivalent listed on Strongsignals and the Radio Shack site has no IF chip listed in the parts list. Some of the Uniden radios of this vintage use a 3359 IF chip and pin 10 is the correct point for the 3359. Look around on the circuit boards and try to find the IF chip.

A list of tap points is at http://home.hvc.rr.com/bpetrow/discriminator.zip

If someone is looking for this information .....

The Pro 25 (200-0505) uses a Motorola MC3361BD Chip and the pin is 9 for the recovered audio.
