Hey Steve2004,
I used LND7 for mine. It works good with either a soundcard or data slicer.

What do you ground it to?
Or... do you even ground it?

I mounted my jack under the antenna connection. With the back being metal it's conected to ground, so I didn't run a ground. If you mount it to the back of a plastic cabinet radio (Pro2052/2050 for example), you will have to run a ground wire to a ground point.

Hello, sorry to dig up an ancient post, but can you please tell me how you tapped this scanner, any resistors used, etc. I have 2 of them that I want to tap and am new to this. A friend did one on an old pro2026, but I'm afraid is on its last leg.
Any pics would help. While I am familiar with electronics and have done my fair share of soldering, my strengths end as soon as I pop the top. Lol.

Thanks
Steve
