I'm thinking of doing a discriminator tap on my Pro-95. The only trunk system I listen to is King County. Will I be able to decode anything for the King County system ?

With the discriminator data stream and the right computer setup, you can watch the system activity using Trunker or Unitrunker. If you add a second radio, the computer can control it based on your commands and priorities.
Not sure that you'll hear any more than you do now, but you might appreciate how the system works after actually seeing it. If you don't need portability, this is a great way to make sure you hear the 'good' stuff, instead of being at the mercy of a scanner which randomly grabs the next available programmed TG.

I just put the discriminator tap in, downloaded Unitrunker, plugged the cable in and turned it on and it works :lol: .
Now I have to relearn dos and read up on Unitrunker to figure out what it all means.
