Okay, I am stomping around the Uniden website, my goggles must be fogged up. I cannot locate a point to begin a download for the firmware, not under support, or any other number of places, someone point the old man in the right direction please, Thank You

I logged into myuniden clicked "Register A Product" then selected BCD436HP but the serial number box will only let me enter 12 digits but the scanner has 14 after then SN??
There is also no box to enter the checksum so how do I register it?

As has been mentioned several times previously, the upgrade is not available yet.
When the firmware with the DMR capabilities made is available, you will update your scanner using the "update firmware" function in the Sentinel software, and then purchase a key from my.uniden.com
.
Probably have to download a new sentinel version first when it becomes available

Will there be a Canadian setting in the menu to change 'Color' to 'Colour'???
Great news though, makes me wish I had of held on to my 436 a little longer. Adding multi-mode DMR for $50 is a bargain. Makes you wonder how many system admins will start checking that Privacy box though!
Agreed on the privacy setting. Don't want to be Mr. Negative but it's something to think about. I still plan on getting the upgrade though, there is quite a bit of Moto systems here in MN. Unfortunately the Mall of America switched over to a Cap+ but it's totally enc.
+3 for me. Drawback of having too many scanners.

Just hold onto the key for a bit. (It will be in your "All My Scanners" record at my.uniden.com in case you lose the email.)
