Hello all!

I see that the Disneyland Resort Capacity Plus system was marked deprecated in the database. I know that Walt Disney World's system has been replaced by some sort of in-house LTE system. Is the same true for Disneyland Resort? Is the Capacity Plus system completely off-air now? I'll take it out of my programming if so.

Thanks,
Michael

<snip> I don't have the answer. I thought you were an admin and was going to suggest that you check the submissions for that system to see if anyone submitted something to indicate it was no longer in use.

If someone wants to nudge the powers to be, I'll gladly take on the role.

But no, I'm not. I just hadn't seen any discussion in the CA forums about the DLR system recently and saw it had been deprecated this month.

Also I meant for this to be in the Los Angeles sub-forum, not the statewide forum. My bad.

I am seeing several T3 frequencies doing a search. An FCC search for 938.425 (something I am receiving) shows it to belong to Walt Disney company but also shows it as expired. The deprecated DMR is off the air as I am not getting anything anymore. I am about 2 miles from Disneyland and could hear it before.

You used to be able to hear their DMR traffic in the clear?

I'm going to assume by "hear", he meant "receive".

Speaking for myself, I'm as much into system analysis/mapping as I am voice listening. I was unable to receive any voice traffic on the Cap+ system with the exception of some occasional All Call traffic the last time I visited.

That is correct, receive. You can still hear the frequencies even though they are encrypted.

I'm well aware of those frequencies, I'm talking about these,(Tentative only)
935.5125
935.5250
935.5375
935.5500
935.5625
935.5750
935.6125
These are all DMR tier III with a color code of 3, and matching signal strength on the SDR, just like the 938 channels.
None of these are licenesed to the Walt Disney Co.

If anyone can ID these as not being Disneyland I will cross them off of my list.
Knowing the frequencies aren't going to help anyway as they are still encrypted.

The talkgroup ID's somewhat line up with the older DLR system. Is it possible to throw a switch and change the DMR to a tier III without doing much reprogramming? Maybe I should do a drive around the resort get some McDonalds with close call turned on and get confirmation if any are used.

DMR and Close Call don't like to cooperate. I'd recommend programming in a custom search bank 935.0 MHz to 940.0 MHz and getting close enough where you can get the signal without the antenna on.

I've seen 83, 84, 34,30,36,144, 107,147

I think we can say these two systems are together. I just got the same radio ID# on TG36 using both a 935 & 938 frequency.
