Dispatcher Training

In Connecticut the OSET (Office of Statewide Emergency Telecommunications) uses a version of the APCO Telecommunicator Course.
After that, some departments send you to training from PowerPhone (but this is not mandatory).

The only "national" training of which I am aware is offered by APCO International. Try APCO - Public Safety and Emergency Communications, 9-1-1
