I work for an entertainment company that has in-house security and medical. About 10 years ago they upgraded their old Command Plus consoles with software called TrboVui Dispatch. Upon research the company rebranded the software to RadioPro Dispatch.
I am wondering if anyone knows how I can configure an alert tone to transmit so units are aware of a high priority call being dispatched. Our old consoles had a dedicated button. This software does not have that option, or at least I can’t figure it out. The documentation on the software is not very specific on anything either.
Our dealer said that the new version “RadioPro Dispatch” appears to have the ability to do this, but upgrading the software means also upgrading the equipment, which we do not have the budget for.
The software works off of being connected to these gateways that are then connected to mobile radios.
I experimented with QCII, but it’s not easy to get to in the menu and I’m afraid It would take the dispatcher more time to go through the menus to send that out, then click the back button multiple times.
does anyone have any ideas?
