BCD325P2/BCD996P2: Display Color Issue

Hey Folks,

My BCD996P2 display has always been set to "Cyan". After a couple of years I decided to change the color and noticed that White is now like Yellow, Green is now like Cyan, Blue is so dark that it's almost unreadable. Has anyone else had the same problem? Is there a simple fix or do I have to get the display replaced?

most likely one of the LED's are out. Mine was always blue, went out and changed to green for now. Not sure if Uniden sill still fix them or not.

each color has three levels of color, adjust the contrast in the menu some where, check the manual on where it is exactly located.

Check the cable going to the front panel. That has been a common problem.

Pushing on the volume will give you three levels of brightness.

For color choice

Menu/Settings/Set Backlight/
Set Dimmer/Auto/Manual
Set Color/
