Denver: 4391 Federal at the 7-11 a Yellow Cab was just carjacked at gunpoint, req amb for the driver and cab is being tracked by gps in Dist 2 currently.

Denver U/D: Yellow cab was tracked via gps, now Pursuit of the suspect and a crash involving a police cars 19th & Washington, foot pursuit and req cover code 10.

Denver U/D: All three suspects in-custody after a foot pursuit and some excellent police work by DPD.

Message to the stupid criminals; don't steal a car that has gps tracking!

DENVER - A police follow of a stolen taxi cab ended with a police car in the bushes near an apartment complex and suspects in custody.

The Denver Police Department says the police follow started in the 4300 block of Federal Boulevard near a 7-11.

It ended on 19th and Washington near St. Luke's Lofts with a police car in the bushes.

Police say no one was injured and they were able to arrest the suspects, whose names have not been released.

Details about how the cab was stolen were not immediately known.

Dumb Criminals!

It's nice to know that your criminals in Denver and no smarter than ours down here in Dallas!!!! I can just imagine the laughter behind the fences at Canon City when these guys get there and tell the story of how they ended up there: "You did what?!!!!!!"
