Armed robbery with shots fired at DPD, pursuit SB in the NB lanes of Santa Fe from Evans, lost suspect vehicle area of Hampden but Englewood might have it again a little farther south.

Lots of agencies now involved including Denver, Englewood, Littleton, Sheriden

Pursuit U/D: DPD, EPD, LPD and SPD now all involved and comms have been patched to Cleer, trying to get Air 1 up and focusing on 285 @ Inca area in Englewood and confirming officer involved shooting at 3300 West Florida.

DENVER – Police continue to search for robbery suspects after an officer shot at them, triggering a chase on Wednesday afternoon.

Denver Police say the officer stopped a vehicle at West Florida and Knox because the vehicle may have been involved in an earlier robbery at a convenience store. He shot at the two men inside the black SUV when they tried to flee and police say the officer felt threatened.

Police do not believe the shots hit either suspect.

Police say the men are in a black SUV, possibly an Acura or an Isuzu with Colorado license plate number 815-NEZ.

The chase went from Denver into Englewood where police lost sight of the vehicle.

Police released a picture of one of the men they believe was in the SUV.

Because of the police situation, Bishop Elementary School was put into lockdown for a time on Wednesday afternoon, but was released a short time later.
