District 3 Ottawa converted all their low band radios to STARCOM21. I have no idea what the talk groups or frequencies are as they are in the process of installing the radios as of this date. Any help would be appreciated

Go to the Radio Reference SC21 database page STARCOM21 Statewide Illinois P25 Trunking System, Statewide, Illinois - Scanner Frequencies . Freqs for your local site(s) will be listed under 'System Frequencies'. For talkgroup information, scroll about 1/3 down the page until you get to the subcategory 'IDOT District 3 (Ottawa) Talkgroups'. Looks like their 'local' talkgroups haven't been determined yet, but there are a few operations TGs listed for them. My guess is that their 'local' TGs might be in 3740s/3750s, and their RIDs would be in the 363xxx range.

Hope this helps. Please contribute any new finds to Radio Reference, as the database is only as good as the information provided by its contributors!

Looks like trucks in at least LaSalle county are getting their Starcom radios installed today. I'm getting a lot of affiliations from D3 IDoT trucks on the following talkgroups on T131 (LaSalle)

3743
3746
3750

Today's the first day I've heard voice on any of the D3 local channels ... I caught Bridge 1 and Bridge 11 talking on 3750. I believe those units are from the IDOT "Special Operations Yard" on N 30th Rd near Utica

Adding to MikeyC info, Dist 3 Ottawa yard Base/Truck ID is 3746. More active when snowing or lane closer needed for accident.
Kankakee, Pontiac & Ottawa have radios in trucks. West end of Dist LaSalle & Princeton etc will have there's in by end of July.

Grundy county is part of dist 3. As the 1st post of this thread said all of dist 3 going star com. From what I have read and heard all idot yards will be on star com. I believe idot has cancelled low band with the fcc.
