It's the same as the county number assigned by the state (the same number on your license plates)...

For example:
Lorain = 47
Cuyahoga = 18
Summit = 77

OSP uses them also for their posts.

Not "Districts"

Does anyone know what the district numbers are for the Sheriffs district numbers in the State of Ohio???

If you get a State of Ohio map and start with the 1st county in the "A's" and go through the alphabetical list, you will get EACH county's assigned number. The sheriff's offices don't have "districts" like the Highway Patrol does....

As an example, Franklin County is "County 25" while Gallia County is "County 27"....Meigs is County 53. Vinton is County 82.

Get the map. Count (actually, they may be numbered on the map already) and check them out....

Sheriffs Dont have "Districts" per se..They have county numbers and then they can divide the county into districts.

That's not a given; most if not all of the major metro areas do not use this scheme, nor do some or many of the sheriffs in other areas like Mansfield. Do your research (the county numbers are on the state page here on RR) so you know what numbers to listen for, but you'll just have to listen to your local sheriff to determine what system they use.
