DIY Ultralight DXing Stand

As I am now spending more time at home DXing, this afternoon I have thrown together a DIY Ultralight DXing stand, this is built from some scrap parts I found in the shed.
The legs are off a broken towel rail and the top was off the side of an old desk. As this was a bit rough, I added some duct tape to stop it damaging my radios.

Update - November 2020 - MK3
After using this stand for the past week, I have now added a plastic turntable to the top of this. The advantage of this is that I am now able to easily spin my 3" FSL and radio a full 180 degrees, this makes aligning this for the best signal level much easier.

Nice, Paul. Here in the states, we call that tray a Lazy Susan.
I remember a couple of years ago, someone in one of the forums did the same thing to get the best signal.

Paul designs and makes experimental loop antennas for DXing. Some are very unique and intriguing! I think he helped design the "Flux Capacitor" for the car in Back To The Future!
