just bought an dj500 simple to programme with rt system. software.
I intend running it from 12 volts via edh battery eliminator which gives 8 volts to dj500 any one tried it/
I am using a bench supply -12 volts with cigar car socket.

Should work fine. The battery supplies 7.4v DC. Should be right in the sweet spot.
